More after the jump.
Lately we have really embraced a ‘less is more’ approach to how we do business, design and also development.
Our approach when coming up with ideas is no longer what we can add but what can we remove. It’s taken a long while for us to embrace this mentality, but now that we understand it, we are trying to execute on it as much as possible.
When creating our new site we looked into the easiest way to get you your theme during checkout. We managed to get rid of a step and we were quite happy.
However after analyzing our stats we have realized that we can do more. What if we took to the risk and removed the requirement to register? We have been planning and debating it for almost two weeks and recently decided it’s time to take the dive and test it out.
Overall we think the service rocks however there are a few niggling issues which we hope they sort out sooner rather than later.
Today’s topic, by Jacques van Heerden, is all about Minimalistic websites. We often hear that less is more, but never really apply the actual theory to our work. We don’t work less to get more out, we work more to get enough out.
I have searched far and wide for 10 appealing minimalistic websites to flourish your creative thinking.
